Las políticas sectoriales siempre han sido un complemento indispensable de las políticas macroeconómicas, como lo reflejan las diversas lecturas compiladas en este libro en el caso de la agricultura. No siempre las políticas macroeconómicas han sido favorables al desarrollo de la agricultura, y en el pasado proteccionista incluyeron sesgos notorios que afectaron negativamente la dinámica del sector agropecuario.<br/>Las políticas agrícolas sobre financiamiento y desarrollo tecnológico han sido pieza clave del crecimiento de la agricultura, como se percibe en el desarrollo de estos temas. Al igual, el desarrollo institucional y la expedición de normas reguladoras del uso de los recursos naturales y el medio ambiente, han sido base У la evolución del sector. La seguridad alimentaria resume en fundamental para alguna medida los efectos de las políticas macroeconómicas sobre la capacidad de consumo de los habitantes, y la manera como las decisiones sobre la agricultura han influido en el abastecimiento del mercado interno. Estos temas llaman la atención sobre aspectos que no pueden ser olvidados en el diseño de las políticas para el desarrollo eficiente de la agricultura colombiana. |
