Con la ayuda de la A (Andy, se supone) y de B, que "es cualquiera que me ayude a matar el tiempo" áy a quien A puede llamar por telefono durante horas para chismorrear y hablarle del amor, el exito, el dinero, la belleza, la muerte, la vejez, el trabajo, las fiestas, la gente famosa, la ciudad y de cómo quitarse el estres con una aspiradora, Warhol le va revelando al lector, con la seriedad de quien sabe que lo más verdadero linda a veces con lo más risible, una visión personal, irreverente y ferozmente sincera del mundo actual, canallesco, desorbitado, y con frecuencia grotesco.
