Summary, etc. Después de leer Por las sendas de El Ubérrimo de Iván Cepeda y Alirio Uribe el lector quedará perplejo y asombrado. Es un texto valiente, rigurosamente documentando, que renueva la información sobre algunos temas que han marcado la compleja historia de Colombia en las últimas décadas: paramilitarismo, desalojo violento de tierras y usurpación del poder para beneficios particulares. Se ahondará en la espinosa trayectoria de la habiendo Guacharacas, epicentro en Antioquia del paramilitarismo en los años 80 y 90, que fue propiedad del expresidente Álvaro Uribe y su hermano Santiago. El segundo capítulo abarca la acumulación de tierras en las vecindades de El Ubérrimo en Córdoba, de la familia de Uribe Moreno y algunos amigos, que mejoraron sus predios con fondos públicos; llámese Agro Ingreso Seguro o para el drenaje del Distrito de Mocarí. En tercer lugar se profundizará el lastimoso caso de los jefes de seguridad del expresidente Uribe, los generales retirados de la policía Mauricios Santoyo y Flavio Buitrago, involucrados con el narcoparamilitarismo. En el país de la “memoria calcinada” este libro es un faro para no olvidar nuestra historia.
