Summary, etc. Una cadena de terremotos ha sacudido la tierra y regiones enteras han quedado sumergidas bajo el agua. Los humanos viven ahora hacinados en ciudades. Los únicos que poseen un espacio propio son los habitantes del lecho marino, los Abisales. También los Sobs, que viven en municipios -grandes ciudades- naves que surcan los mares-, y se dedican al comercio y al contrabando.<br/>Ty siempre ha sabido que el océano es un lugar peligroso. Cada vez que se aventura fuera de los límites de la granja submarina de sus padres está preparado para hacer frente a toda clase de depredadores marinos: tiburones, calamares gigantes, orcas asesinas...<br/>Pero para lo que no está preparado es para encontrarse con un municipio encadenado a un avión hundido, con todos sus habitantes condenados a una tumba en el fondo del mar, y a que sus padres sean secuestrados por un grupo de Sobs cuando iban a vender su cosecha de algas.<br/>Ahora, en una lucha desesperada contra el reloj para salvar la vida de sus progenitores, y con la ayuda de su amiga Gemma, deberá enfrentarse a políticos corruptos, criminales, los salvajes Sobs y alguna de las criaturas más mortíferas del océano.
